In this talk, I will discuss how the random fluid motions at the photosphere of the sun excite MHD waves in upper atmosphere. The magnetic structure and the stratified plasma act as wave guides and filter out resonance frequencies. The inhomogeneities of a sunspot, i.e, light bridge, acoustic resonator, would significantly?affect the properties of the waves. By studying the waves in these structures, one could infer the fine structures of the sunspot, which will eventually determine the fate of its evolution and other solar activities.
